Darras Coffee Roasters is a small familiy business, that started as a coffee roastery in Amsterdam. Fawzi has always had a great passion for coffee. Through his work, he got the opportunity to roast coffee himself and supply it to the restaurants within the company he worked for. Thus began our coffee adventure.

Through 10 years of testing coffee beans from different countries, we found a blend with a balanced flavour. Connoisseurs often say it has a hint of chocolate and nuts. The coffee roastery grew into a place for people to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and come together after work. We got the opportunity to grow our roastery in size and opened a kitchen. With family and friends who have knowledge of spices belonging to the original Middle Eastern cuisine, six rolls were created that we are very proud of. Each roll has an exotic touch or a flavour you don't often come across and we make the ingredients ourselves. So, for example, our falafel roll is composed according to our own recipes for the falafel and hummus. After our success with those six rolls, we now have the option to try it in a pita.

We have now opened four locations where we sell our coffee and the six rolls and pita's, and where father and sons run the business. Quality is and will always be our top priority. So we always offer freshly roasted coffee, adjust our machines every morning to get the tastiest coffee and make the ingredients of our food ourselves in a traditional way in our central kitchen in Sloterdijk.
